Traffic Pattern Locations for Austin Executive (EDC) and Taylor (T74)
The standard traffic pattern for a non-jet airplane is at 1000 feet AGL. The downwind leg should be ½ to ¾ miles from the runway. Since the turn to the base leg is based on the 45° rule, that would make base and final also about ½ to ¾ miles long.
Austin Executive (EDC)
Since Austin Executive is a towered field, fly a partial pattern, as assigned by tower. Often, this is just a base and final leg. (Overnight, when Executive Tower is closed, fly a full pattern, with a 45° entry to the downwind leg.)

Since Taylor is a non-towered field, fly a full pattern, with a 45° entry to the downwind leg.
